EFL app: how to purchase subscriptions

Only Organization Administrators can purchase subscriptions.

Data Makes the Difference accepts credit cards and purchase orders as methods of payment. When paying with credit cards, subscriptions are activated immediately, whereas using purchase orders leads to a 'pending' status until payment is processed.

To make a purchase with a credit card or to generate a quote for a purchase order:

  1. Click on Purchases in the sidebar

  2. Click on New Purchase (top right corner)

  3. In the Add New Purchase box, use the carets to select the payment type and product,

  4. Enter the product quantity, and select the organization name and click Create.

Note: if there is more than one organization on your account, it is very important that you select the organization for which you are purchasing subscriptions because subscriptions purchased for one organization cannot be use by or transferred to another organization. Additionally, purchases made using the 'Purchase Order' option will display a 'pending' status and indicate 'waiting on payment' until the required documentation is completed and processed.

  • If you generate a quote for a purchase order, you will receive confirmation that the quote has been created and you will receive the actual quote via email. This 'pending' status is maintained until your organization submits the purchase order for processing.

  • The quote should be given to your organization’s business office to create the actual purchase order and email it to purchaseorder@datamtd.com

  • On receipt of the purchase order, the subscriptions that you ordered will be released to your account and an invoice for payment will be sent to your organization.

  • You can then assign the subscription to a learner to begin the assessment.### Key Points to Remember

  • 'Pending' statuses are standard for purchase orders until reviewed and accepted.

  • Purchases via credit cards ensure immediate subscription activation.

  • Ensure payment methods are chosen correctly to avoid delays. If subscriptions remain in 'pending' status, verify with your business office to ensure the purchase order has been submitted or correct the selected payment method if chosen in error.
