What you’ll get:
Milestones Grid (clickable cells reveal the question and the learner’s score)
Barriers Grid
Transitions Grid
– Any other supplemental grids

1. Go to Your Assessment

  1. Log in and access the learner whose Grids you want to view. You can find the learner either through your dashboard or by going through your organization, and then choosing the learner tab and then searching or clicking for your learner. Once you're in the learner overview page you'll see a list of assessment. Click on any assessments you wish to access. Once in, scroll down on the left hand side to access the Scoring Grids.

2. Download the Grid PDF

  1. In the top-right corner of the Master Scoring Form page, click PDF

  2. The PDF will automatically download, containing the grid of that Master Scoring Form: Milestones, Barriers, or Transitions.

3. Explore the Milestones Grid

  • Clickable Cells: Hover or click any cell to view:

    • The exact VB-MAPP question tied to that milestone

    • The score the learner achieved on that item

  • Bubbles - the bubble/oval shape under each operant indicates that the milestone/operant you're looking at, had a full score of 0 across that level.

“There is a circle below each section for each administration that can be used to indicate that the skill was tested, even though the child did not obtain any points for that section”

    Sundberg, M. L. (2008). VB-MAPP guide (p. 25). AVB Press.

Therefore if the learner has scored points in the current or a previous assessment for that particular section and has maintained that score (has not gained any new skills for that particular section), a bubble will not be filled in for the current assessment under that section. The only time a bubble should be colored in is when an operant/level section has been scored zero for all 5 Milestones.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Multiple Exports: Feel free to re-download at any time—your data is always up to date.

  • PDF Reader: For best results, use Adobe Acrobat or another full-featured PDF viewer to access interactive elements.

  • Missing Grid? If you don’t see a particular grid type, confirm that your assessment level includes it (e.g., Transitions only appears at later milestone levels).

That’s it—now you can easily grab your full VB-MAPP grids and dive into the details of each learner’s performance!
