The VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program) is an evidence-based assessment tool created by Dr. Mark L. Sundberg to evaluate language, learning, and social skills in children—particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities. Grounded in B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior, the VB-MAPP helps clinicians pinpoint a learner’s strengths and barriers, track progress over time, and develop individualized intervention plans.
